Project Overview

The 19th Avenue NE Sidewalk Project will construct sidewalk on the west side of 19th Avenue NE and sidewalk and curb ramp improvements at the major intersections between NE 196th Street and 244th Street SW (NE 205th Street).

Project location

This project is part of the 2018 voter-approved effort to build and repair sidewalks throughout Shoreline.

Project improvements include:

Pedestrian facilities with curbs and gutters
Curb ramps
Drainage improvements

Project Timeline

Preliminary Design: Summer/Fall/Winter 2024
Final Design: Mid 2025
Construction: Summer 2026

Tree Impacts

We are early in the design process but anticipate that this project may impact up to 10 trees. An arborist assessment of the trees in the project area is available for review.
