COVID-19 Information

In order to mitigate the impacts of the emergency on district customers, Ronald Wastewater District is waiving late fees and the credit card payment convenience fee. Past due collection action is being deferred.

Following guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Washington State Department of Health, and Public Health Seattle & King County, City Hall is currently closed. Therefore, the City is not currently accepting cash payments; all current payment options are listed below. All transactions fees for online payments are temporarily waived.

City Operates Utility on Behalf of District 

Under the terms of a service contract between Ronald Wastewater District and the City, the City now operates the sewer utility.

What does this mean for you, the customer? Not much. The Ronald Wastewater District Board of Commissioners will continue to be responsible for addressing policy matters, setting rates, and managing capital improvements for the utility.

You can still report customer service issues using the District’s old phone number (206) 546-2494.

Paying your bill will also not change, unless you pay in person or use the District’s payment drop box. All utility business conducted in person, including paying a bill, using the payment drop box, addressing a customer service issue, or receiving a permit, will now be conducted at Shoreline City Hall (17500 Midvale Avenue N). The new payment drop box will be located on the top floor of the City Hall parking garage.

Ronald Wastewater District offers several options to manage and pay your sewer bill:

credit card Option 1 - Pay Bill Now
Pay your bill online with eCheck and Visa/MasterCard. Payments can take up to three business days. The credit card convenience fee is currently waived.                                      
Paperless billing Option 2 - Manage Your Bill with doxo Paperless Billing
Secure online bill payment is also available with the doxo account option. Payments can take up to seven business days.

Option 3 - Sign Up for Automatic Withdrawal
Have your sewer bill automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account by using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) option. Download ACH Agreement.
