New for Fall 2025, the Shoreline Walks community walking program will be hosting a Tuesday morning walking group. No registration is necessary, just drop-in and join volunteer walk leader Donna for free walks every Tuesday at 10am. Walks will explore a variety of Shoreline neighborhoods, streets and trails with the meetup location and walk details published the Thursday prior to each walk on www.ShorelineWA.gov/ShorelineWalks.
The goal of the Tuesday Walking Group is to build a community of walkers who want to stay active and social together. Participants will be encouraged to join the group each week as a way to foster connections and support each other’s fitness goals.
Each weekly walk will cover 2-4 miles of streets and trails and may include uneven surfaces, stairs and moderately steep hills. Walks will be led at a slower pace to encourage conversation and ensure as many people as possible can participate. The Tuesday Walking Group will take place rain or shine and will be cancelled if more extreme weather is forecasted.
