Welcome to the City of Shoreline parks. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please observe and obey the following rules.

General Park Rules

Parks are open daily from dawn to dusk except for City of Shoreline Parks Department approved activities.
Dogs must be kept on-leash at all times except in designated off-leash areas. Please clean up after your dog.
Feeding waterfowl and animals is prohibited.
Fireworks are prohibited.
Fires are prohibited except in designated barbecue units or designated fire pits.
Removal of park property is prohibited.
Alcohol beverages is prohibited.
Smoking, or the use of any tobacco and/or controlled substance products in any park area is not permitted.
Park in designated areas only and keep all vehicles on roadways.
No overnight camping.
Amplified sounds audible at a distance of 30 feet are prohibited except for City of Shoreline Parks Department approved activity.
Golf is prohibited.
Place trash in trash receptacle. No dumping of household or commercial generated trash is allowed.
Staking and digging is prohibited in any park area.
Inflatable bouncy houses and other carnival games are prohibited except for City of Shoreline Parks Department approved activity.

Tennis Courts

TENNIS COURT RULES

Court shoes only.
No skateboards, bicycles, skates, or rollerblades on courts.
No alcoholic beverages or food on courts.
If other players are waiting, yield court after one hour max
No private paid instructions or classes allowed on courts without permission of the City of Shoreline Parks Department.
No non-service pets on court.
Programs and activities prescheduled thru the City of Shoreline Parks Department have priority.

TENNIS COURT LIGHT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Press button for 30-minute session.
Warning light will flash during the last two minutes of the session.
Press the button before the warning light shuts off to reset timer for new 30-minute session.Court lights automatically shut off at 10:00 p.m.

Synthetic Turf Fields

SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD USE RULES AND REGULATIONS

Synthetic turf fields provide year-round play and require special care. Please respect the following:

NO tobacco, alcohol, or other controlled substances.
NO gum or sunflower seeds.
NO dogs or other animals.
NO fireworks or other exploding devices.
NO vehicles.
NO bicycles, skateboards, or rollerblades.
NO glass containers. Plastic bottles only allowed on the field.

SYNTHETIC FIELD TURF LIGHT OPERATION

Synthetic field turf field lights are only set for events scheduled by the City of Shoreline Parks Department.
Lights are set to come on at dusk for events scheduled after dusk.
Lights are set to go off 15 minutes after the last scheduled end time.
No field lights allowed after 10:35 p.m.

Paramount Park Skate Park

WELCOME

The City of Shoreline Parks Department invites you to enjoy this skate park at Paramount Park. It I unsupervised and designed for skateboards and rollerblades. Please observe and obey the following rules:

Always look and be alert.
Helmets and safety gear are strongly recommended.
Bicycles are prohibited.
Park is open from dawn to dusk.
Respect the park and all who use it.

Community Gardens

WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY GARDEN

Please come in and enjoy this organic garden sanctuary.
Your neighbors lovingly care for the paces in this garden.
The produce and flowers grown here belong to the gardeners and local food banks. Please don’t pick anything or disturb the garden.

Off Leash Dog Areas

Welcome to the City of Shoreline Off-Leash Dog Areas

Keep your dog under voice control
Respect other park users and stop bothersome behavior immediately.
Use the plastic bags to clean up after your dog.
Keep your dog on leash unless in designated off-leash area.

Public opinion relies upon the behavior of you and your dog. The success of this off-leash dog area depends on what you do.

City of Shoreline Off-Leash Area (OLA) Rules

Prior to entry, dogs must be healthy, and owners/handlers must comply with King County Animal Control regulations, including having their dog(s) fully immunized, dewormed, and licensed prior to entering the OLA.
Entry to the OLA is at the risk of dog owners, handlers, or visitors. Owner/handlers are legally responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dogs.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
All food, including dog treats, is prohibited.
Dog(s) must be under voice control of their owner/handler at all times in OLA.
Owners/handlers must have their dog(s) on-leash at all times unless in the designated OLA.
Owners/handlers must remove pinch, spike, or choke collar from their dogs before entering the OLA.
Owners/handlers must possess their dog(s) collar with identification, current dog license, and current rabies tags at all times in the OLA.
Owners/handlers must carry a leash for each dog while in the OLA.
Owners/handlers mut remain with and watch their dog(s) in the OLA at all times.
Owners/handlers must promptly clean up after their dog(s) by bagging and disposing of waste in a designated trash receptacle.
Owners/handlers and their dog(s) that exhibit or have a history of aggressive or dangerous behavior are prohibited.
Owners/handlers must leash aggressive dogs and remove them from the premises.
Owners/handlers with puppies under four months and female dogs in heat are prohibited from entering the site.
Bicycles, skateboards, roller-skates rollerblades and strollers are prohibited.
