Post Date:June 15, 2026 5:00 pm

Make an e-bike purchase more affordable this summer with the City’s Pedal Forward Shoreline program.

You can fill out the Pedal Forward Shoreline Application online now or visit ShorelineWA.gov/PedalForward to learn more about the program. The application closes at midnight on Wednesday, June 17.

Get help with your application by contacting program staff at environment@shorelinewa.gov or 206-801-2488.

Note: Terms and conditions apply. Availability is limited, so not all who apply may receive this offer.

What is Pedal Forward Shoreline?

Pedal Forward Shoreline is a City program that helps residents save money on electric bikes! For a limited time, you can apply for an instant rebate to use at participating local bike shops.

E-bikes make getting around easier, especially for longer trips or hills. They’re a fun, convenient alternative to driving that can help you save on transportation costs while supporting a cleaner, less congested community.

Am I eligible for an instant rebate?

All Shoreline residents 18 or older can apply for an instant rebate.

  • Income-qualified residents can apply for a $1,500 instant rebate.
  • All other residents can apply for a $500 rebate.

Looking for more ways to save?

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is also running an e-bike rebate program this year, with new rebates assigned the second Monday of each month. WSDOT rebates are worth either $300 or $1,200 depending on household income. If you receive both a Shoreline rebate and a WSDOT rebate, you can use both together to maximize your e-bike savings. For full details, visit the WSDOT rebate program website.
