After 24 days of construction, NE 145th Street and the southbound I-5 exit and entrance ramps are set to reopen on Thursday, September 18.

What’s new?

A new roundabout on the west end of the I-5 overpass. Traffic will shift into a temporary configuration that uses a single-lane configuration of the roundabout while construction continues.

This is a major milestone in improving mobility and safety in the corridor. Crews will continue working in the area — please drive carefully and follow posted signs. Thank you for your patience and support throughout the closure!

As a reminder a second roundabout on the east end of the I-5 overpass is scheduled to open in early 2026. Until then, the intersection will remain signalized.
