Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. Meetup Location: Paramount School Park, east entrance, on 10th Avenue and 155th.
Walk Difficulty Rating: Moderate (Hills). 3.0 miles / 1.75 hours. Elevation gain - 255 feet.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: We will first explore the Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center Campus, formerly the site of Seattle Navy Hospital, then Firlands TB Sanitarium and later Fircrest School. Then we will walk through South Woods and into the neighborhood to the south. We will return through Paramount Park Reserve.
