DESCRIPTION:<p><b>SHORELINE WALKS<br></b>Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest!&nbsp; Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.&nbsp;<br><b>For a full list of walks visit </b><a href="http://www.ShorelineWA.gov/ShorelineWalks"><b>www.ShorelineWA.gov/ShorelineWalks</b></a></p><p><strong>Saturday, August 9, 2025 10:00 AM<br>North City History Walk<br></strong>From the school we will walk past the 185th Street Light Rail Station, then wind our way up to the 15th Avenue business district to see the many changes there.&nbsp; There will be stops along the route to learn about the history of this fascinating area of Shoreline.&nbsp; We will return by way of St. Marks.&nbsp; There will be an optional extension to walk the trail though the near-by North City Park.<br>Walk is approximately 3.5 miles / 2.5 hours<br>Walk Rating: Moderate (some hills, one quite steep one)<br>Meet at North City Elementary School, 816 NE 190th St, Shoreline, WA 98155.<br>Walk Leader: Donna&nbsp;<br><i><strong><div></div></strong></i><br><i><strong></strong></i></p><div></div><i><strong><br><div></div></strong><br></i><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
