Horizon View Park Walk – FREE, Tue. 8/25 @ 10am
Meetup Location: Lake Forest Park Elementary School, 18500 37th Ave. N.E. in Lake Forest Park. (Note: the left turn from the west to 37th Street is near a curve and may be hard to notice. There is a left turn lane there).
Walk Difficulty Rating: Moderate. 3.5 miles/2 hours. Has a long climb to the top.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: We will walk up a long hill from Lake Forest Park Elementary School, crossing Lyons Creek several times. Horizon View Park is at the highest point in Lake Forest Park and, on a clear day, one can see Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range from there. Our route down is much more direct, going through neighborhoods and down a hidden trail.
