SHORELINE WALKS FREE COMMUNITY WALKS
Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest! Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Meridian Park Loop Walk – FREE, Tue. 8/18 @ 10am
Meetup Location: A small ballfield parking lot at 170th St. and Ashworth Ave. (near the Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center.
Walk Difficulty Rating: Moderate. About 3.4 mile/2 hours. Hills. One short, very steep hill near the start. Elevation gain 232 feet.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: We will start by looping through THE Meridian Park on our way to the Interurban Trail to check out Darnell Park. We will continue south from there a short distance, then turn east through neighborhoods, crossing to the other side of Meridian Avenue. There we will walk through Mark F. McLaughlin Memorial Park and the newly renovated James Keough Park. From there we will walk to a minor view of Ronald Bog from the south and then back to our start.
