WALK DETAILS
Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – Leaving at 10:00 am
Shoreview and Boeing Creek Parks – Free, Tue. 6/9 @ 10am
Meetup Location: Shoreview Park, 700 NW Innis Arden Way. Park just before the rest rooms by the lower baseball field. (Directions: From 160th and Greenwood Avenue turn in toward the Shoreline Community College campus, but stay on the main road, which is NW Innis Arden Way, for .7 miles, then turn right into the park.)
Walk is: 2.7 mi /2.5 hours. Elevation gain 410ft.
Walk Difficulty Rating: Difficult. Some steep hills, uneven forest trails and stairs.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: From the Shoreview parking lot, we will note the many amenities available. We will then head downhill to catch the trail close to the top of the bluff above the former Hidden Lake. (We will skip the trail down to where the lake had been.) We will keep to the bluff trails as much as possible, but will check out the “wet “crossing and use the “dry” crossing twice. We will also walk through a bit of the Shoreline Community College campus on our way back to the start. Please wear sturdy shoes if you join this walk, as the trails are steep and rough in places. You may find a walking stick or hiking polls helpful.
