8th Annual Shoreline Music Summit - Postponed to Saturday, October 3rd - Times to be announced.
This event helps promote and support the local music industry. The Summit offers a full day of free professional development for musicians and music-related businesses, followed by a night of free music for the community. Attendees will get a chance to sample our area’s music venues as well as some of the popular new music being produced by diverse emerging artists in our region. New for 2026 is an all-ages venue, increasing the opportunities for young artists and fans.
In 2025, the City adopted a new 5-year Economic Development Strategy, which identified opportunities to transform key areas into vibrant, community-focused spaces, with tourism leveraging the creative economy to enhance economic growth and community vibrancy. We identified creatives (including musicians) as representing a key driver of the regional economy. By hosting a larger regional celebration and conversation with music-industry stakeholders and other community leaders, Shoreline helps elevate the region’s vibrant, multifaceted music community and set the agenda for the growth of the creative economy.
The Summit is produced in partnership with local non-profit Sonic Guild with support from The Port of Seattle, The Recording Academy, Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, King County, and The Washington State Department of Commerce.
