Shoreline Walks Free Community Walks Program

Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest! Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Kellogg Middle School to Grace Cole Nature Park - Free, Tue. 4/21 @ 10am
Meetup Location: 
Kellogg Middle School parking lot, 16045 25th Ave. N.E. Shoreline, WA
Walk Difficulty Rating:  Difficult. Hills and steep park trails. 3.4 miles, 2 hours. Elevation Gain 449 feet.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: We will walk downhill into Lake Forest Park from the school to the Grace Cole Nature Park entrance. There we will follow the board walk into the wetland and active beaver pond and then climb a very steep loop through the park.  We will return by the same route. Caution: This is not an easy walk!  The trails in the park are rather steep hiking trails - not easy walking trails.  Sturdy shoes and walking poles or sticks are recommended.
