SHORELINE WALKS FREE COMMUNITY WALKS
Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest! Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Bitter Lake Park Walk - Free, Tue. 3/31 @ 10am
Meetup Location: Lower parking lot at St. Dunstan's Church. Enter the lot by a road next to the Interurban Trail entrance north of 145th and Linden.
Walk Difficulty Rating: Moderate, 3.7 miles/2 hours, or less with shortcuts in bad weather. Some hills. 216 elevation gain.

Description: Our route to Bitter Lake Park will take us past the Bitter Lake reservoir where there is a hillside pea-patch and along Linden Avenue and the continuation of the Interurban Trail. After a loop through Bitter Lake Park, we will walk north of the lake with a quick peek at the lake on our round-about way back to our start. The full walk will take us past the entrance to Dunn Gardens.
