Welcoming Week: "Button Making for All" with KCLS Shoreline

Design and create your own pinback buttons using the library's button machine!
This is a drop-in program for all ages.
This fun crafts program is part of Welcoming Week, an annual campaign that invites communities around the globe to host events that deepen understanding and connection among community members.

For Advanced Learners - Visit the Shoreline Historical Museum
After reading the Racial Restrictive Covenant reports head to the Heritage Center and muse through some of Shoreline's darkest relics. Ask for Robby for a more in-depth conversation around Shoreline's past.
The museum also has some beautifully preserved Duwamish treasures and a map from 1859 that honors Coast Salish presence all around the city. Preview below.
