Welcome to the City of Shoreline Calendar! As per the City’s web policies, the City of Shoreline only posts City-sponsored events, other governmental agency events, and City-sponsored group events, including City-sponsored neighborhood associations. However, if you are an individual or community group that would like to post your community event online, the Shoreline Area News events list is an available community resource.

Sidewalk Chalk & Yard Sign Pickup

Help us celebrate our neighbors and our community with two special events this summer! Pick up free chalk and yard signs at one of three pickup times/locations.

City Hall is closed to the public, but you will be able to pick up your materials on the plaza outside the building. Park in the lot (turn off Midvale) and walk towards the City Hall doors.

Shoreline Has Gratitude

Throughout August, use sidewalk chalk to draw a colorful thank you message on your driveway or sidewalk. Make it big enough for people to see as they walk or drive by. Remember to be safe. Keep your distance from cars and stay at least 6 feet away from other people. Wash your hands well after you finish your drawing.

Yard Sign Art

Even though we won’t get to enjoy our usual Celebrate Shoreline events throughout the City, residents can still celebrate our City’s anniversary. This year is a milestone: Shoreline became a city 25 years ago. Decorate a celebratory yard sign to put in your yard or window, or add it to a parade of signs in the Park at Town Center along the Interurban Trail between between August 9 and 17. These yard signs give you a starting point with the words CELEBRATE SHORELINE outlined at the top. You get to add your own creative touches.
