Recology CleanScapes provides curbside collection of solid waste and recycling for Shoreline residents, businesses, and multi-family properties. Curbside recycling and yard debris/food scraps collection are included with garbage service. If your garbage, yard waste, or recycling has not been collected on your designated day, please call Recology CleanScapes within 24 hours of the missed collection, and your missed waste will be collected on the next business day, if your cart is left at the curb. If you cannot call within 24 hours, but your garbage or yard waste has not been collected, call Recology CleanScapes, and you will be allowed to put out a double load of the missed material on your next regularly scheduled collection day for that material.
Windy Weather Warning
Heavy winds and bad weather may topple your solid waste carts. Recology CleanScapes drivers will always return your carts to the curb upright after collection. To avoid damaged or toppled carts, please remove your cart from the curb as soon as possible after collection. We also recommend writing your address on your carts to help our drivers to identify the carts that have tipped over in windy weather.
If extreme weather conditions make it too difficult for garbage and recycling trucks to provide safe collection at your curb, Recology CleanScapes will try to collect materials on your next regular service day (usually the next week). At that time, they will pick-up, at no extra charge, materials equal to what would have been collected on the missed collection day(s).
