2016 Citizen Satisfaction Survey Results

According to the results of the most recent Citizens Satisfaction Survey, Shoreline residents continue to give their community high marks. Ninety-three percent of residents rate Shoreline as a great or good place to live. Traffic and congestion management continue to be the areas residents express the lowest levels of satisfaction with and believe should receive the most emphasis over the next two years.

Other areas of concern include crime prevention and the overall quality of Human Services.  

Other 2016 highlights include:

  • 83% of residents are satisfied with the City's parks, programs, and facilities.
  • 80% express an overall feeling of safety in Shoreline. 
  • 61% say the City is moving in the right direction, 15% say the City is not moving in the right direction, and 24% don't know.
