American Community Survey (ACS): The ACS is an ongoing survey sent to a sample of residents that describes characteristics of Shoreline’s population and helps determine where to locate services and allocate resources. The ACS replaces the long-form of the Census that asked social, economic and housing questions. The most recent three year sample is 2006-2008.
