- The third floor remodel is complete and the Planning and Community Development Department has moved into their new space.
- Renovation of the first floor has begun for the new Police Facility.
- Utility site work is complete and construction of the building addition has started.
Overview and History
The existing Police Facility has reached the end of its life cycle and does not meet current space needs. An analysis in 2013 recommended a plan to relocate the Police Station. The recommended plan is to locate a new Police Station on the first floor of the City Hall and move Planning and Community Development to the third floor. This will require build out of the existing third floor, remodeling of the first floor, an addition to the east side of the building and site improvements for access and parking.
