Overview and History

In 2013 the Regional Trail Signage project developed a strategic plan for bicycle and pedestrian wayfinding throughout the City of Shoreline. The project utilized King County Trail Levy funding to identify a standard signage style, routes to and from the Interurban Trail, and sign locations. Signs identify direction and distance to key destinations. A subcommittee of citizens was established to assist with determining destinations, bicycle routes, and sign locations. The City Wayfinding Signing Guidelines was finished in March 2014.
