Jesse Salomon 

Jesse Salomon was elected to the Shoreline City Council in 2011 and 2015 and as Deputy Mayor in 2018. His term expires December 31, 2019.


Jesse grew up in King County, earned his B.A. at Western Washington University in 1999 and his law degree at the University of Washington in 2002. 

After graduating, Jesse worked as a child welfare prosecutor for the Lummi Nation in Whatcom County and later as a public defense attorney for King County.  He is an experienced trial attorney but has also worked in alternative disposition courts where he helped homeless and substance abusing clients to get back on track. 

Before his election Jesse served on the board of the Ridgecrest Neighborhood Association. He currently represents Shoreline and the Sound Cities Association on King County's Children and Youth Advisory Board and the WRIA 8 Salmon Recovery Council.

Jesse and his wife Sarah live in the Ridgecrest neighborhood with their young son. In his spare time Jesse enjoys hiking, snowboarding, sport fishing and international vacations along roads less traveled.
