Volunteer to Adopt-A-Drain!
Join your community in cleaning storm drains to help prevent flooding! Thank you 2018-2019 volunteers for adopting 61 drains around the city! This program is a partnership between the City and its residents to care for our 7,000+ storm drains by keeping the opening to the drains free from leaves and other debris. Volunteers help monitor and remove accumulated leaves and debris from on top of storm drain grates during the storm season, from October to March. By joining the Adopt A Drain program, you can help prevent localized flooding and improve water quality in local, streams, lakes, and Puget Sound.
