Engineering Development Manual
The Engineering Development Manual (EDM) is a supplement to the Shoreline Municipal Code. The EDM provides information to help with the processes and requirements that apply to private development.
The EDM has four divisions:
||Administration - Information about permits
||Right-of-Way - Standards and other information about development within the City right-of-way|
||Surface Water - Policies and design standards about surface/storm water
|Division 4:||Construction and Inspection - Information about construction and inspection in the City right-of-way|
The current EDM can be found here: Engineering Development Manual.
The current EDM is effective starting March 1, 2019. All permit applications completed on or after this date must meet the standards of the current EDM. A summary of the revisions from the previous version to the current version can be found under the 2019 EDM Summary of Revisions.
