SUMMER STATUS UPDATE

New Summer Camp Offerings! Registration Opens Soon

We're thrilled to announce a new set of Summer Camp offerings that have been restructured to meet public health guidelines during COVID-19! Campers whose registrations were canceled because of COVID-19 will have priority registration for the new camps.

Camps will be smaller which means we won't be able to accommodate everyone who was previously registered.

Registration will open on:

1. Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 a.m. for Shoreline residents whose prior registration was canceled.

2. Thursday, May 28 at 8:00 a.m. for Lake Forest Park residents whose prior registration was canceled.

3. Monday, June 1 at 8:00 a.m. is general registration for any remaining spots.

For registration information and details about Shoreline's summer camp program visit   shorelinewa.gov/registernow and shorelinewa.gov/campshoreline

We regret that our annual array of citywide summer celebrations, neighborhood events, and recreation classes will be canceled this year in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

While we won’t be able to gather for our annual celebrations and events, we are also looking at ways to ensure we can still celebrate. We are working with our partner organizations and neighborhood associations to find ways to capture some of the community and creativity of summer events through other means. Now more than ever it is important for us to make those community connections, even if they are done from a distance. We will keep you informed as we develop these alternative “gatherings” and encourage everyone to find a way to stay connected.

Stay tuned, stay home, and stay healthy.
