Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest!  Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Boeing Creek Interpretive Plant Walk
Join us on a hearty walk learning about the various plant species that grow throughout the wooded trails of Boeing Creek Park. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, trails are uneven and rugged. Kids (with parents) and teens are encouraged to attend this walk. Parental waiver required for youth under 18. No bathroom available on this walk.

Echo Lake History & Church Walk
Learn about the history of Echo Lake Neighborhood while passing by 7 churches and 3 parks in the neighborhood. The Echo Lake School Native Plant Garden, which is next to our meeting place, will be open 15 minutes before and after the walk for those who would like to walk through it.

Hamlin Park Trails Walk
Take a morning stroll in the woods. Hamlin is one of the oldest parks in Shoreline and a wonderful place to take a forested trail walk without having to drive to the mountains. Rain or Shine.

Walk through Paramount Park Natural Area and Fircrest campus. We’ll visit the chapel and memorial garden in Fircrest and return through the Ridgecrest Neighborhood. Small stairways at Fircrest. Restrooms at Paramount School Park.

North City Loop Walk
Enjoy a pleasant after-dinner walk around the North City Neighborhood. We’ll start at North City Elementary and make a 2 mile loop by the North City Park, over the 195th pedestrian-only I-5 ridge and Shoreline Park. The second half of this walk takes us through area that is being transformed the coming of Light Rail. Come enjoy this wonderful area while it is still a quiet part of the City.

Shoreview & Boeing Creek Park Walk + The Shoreline Arts Festival
Come enjoy a morning walk and then visit the Shoreline Arts Festival at its new location - Shoreline Community College! We’ll start at the College and loop through parts of Shoreview Park and Boeing Creek Park, ending back at the College just in time for a stroll through the Arts Festival which starts at 10am. The Festival is a FREE community event with creative and fun options for all tastes. There are Arts Exhibits, Youth Art, Artist Marketplace, Cultural rooms, Hands-on Art, Performances, Food Court, and various activities of all kinds.
