Kruckeberg Botanic Garden

About the Garden
Kruckeberg Botanic Garden is a four acre public garden containing a unique blend of Pacific Northwest native plants and unusual exotics in a naturalistic, wooded setting. The Garden was founded in 1958 by Dr. Arthur Kruckeberg and his wife Mareen, who amassed the plant collection over 50 years in the property surrounding their home.

The Garden is now owned by the City of Shoreline and operated by the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation (KBGF), a nonprofit organization. The on-site MsK Rare and Native Plant Nursery carries native plants and hardy exotics that are well suited for a Northwest garden.

The Garden is open to the public at designated hours, for tours, by appointment, for horticultural workshops and volunteer work parties. For more information, please contact the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation at
