2018 GOAL = 30 Million Steps as a Community

The Million Step Challenge takes place during the month of May in Shoreline and invites everyone to walk or run as much as you can in the name of health, fitness and fun. Prizes will be awarded to our top “Steppers” at a Closing Community Potluck and Awards event on Saturday, June 2nd at 6:30pm. Let’s work together to reach our community goal of 30 million steps!

REMEMBER, we’ve expanded the Million Step Challenge to allow participants to log their walking totals in several different ways during the month of May. All totals will be posted on this website.

1. Walk around the loop path at Paramount School Park and track your total laps on the paper tracking sheet located in the park or on the “STEP TRACKER” link on this webpage.

2. Walk anywhere you want and track your miles walked on the “STEP TRACKER” link on this webpage.

3. Use a pedometer and log your total daily steps on the “STEP TRACKER” link on this webpage.

Enter your totals each time you walk or the end of each day, they will be converted to “Steps” and posted on this page.

NEW FOR 2018, you’ll be asked what neighborhood you live in on the STEP TRACKER, this is because we want have a special award to the neighborhood which walks the most steps during the Million Step Challenge.
